Our growing financial institution is seeking a talented Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for generating and closing mortgage loans and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for listening to and learning from customers, analyzing their financial situation and answering any questions they have.     • Strong sales and customer service skills
    • Knowledge of loan products, eligibility requirements, and the loan process
    • Ability to analyze financial data and assess risk
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Detail-oriented and organized
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience

    • Active Mortgage Loan Originator license (NMLS licensed)
    • Minimum one year of mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking experience
  • Proven track record of generating and closing mortgage loans

Responsibilities

    • Call referrals and educate borrowers on loan process and product/service alternatives.
    • Answer questions from clients about mortgages, rates, and loans.
    • Inform borrowers on future loan documentation requests, including borrowers' income and asset information.
    • Process borrower credit information through online approval system, structuring loans and compiling loan package.
    • Make sure that all the information in the loan application is correct.
    • Communicate loan status regularly with customers, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns via email and phone.
    • Follow up with clients after appointments to answer their questions and address their concerns.
    • Analyze and manage numbers to increase and ensure efficiencies and meet company goals.
    • Provide every client the best service in the industry.
  • Communicate with other people in the company by email, phone calls, or meetings; work as part of a team within the company.
